Welcome to Collective Worship at Hopton C of E Primary Academy
At Hopton C of E Primary Academy, we hold collective worship sessions that are integral to our school ethos and the spiritual life of our pupils and staff. These sessions provide a precious opportunity to reinforce our values and community in a nurturing and inclusive setting. We invite all pupils to reflect and consider the perspectives and beliefs of others. This is a time for our school community to gather, contemplate, and celebrate our shared values and achievements.
Our collective worship is rooted in the Christian faith and follows the traditions and teachings of the Church of England. It is carefully planned to be relevant and accessible to all members of our school community, respecting the diversity of their beliefs and backgrounds. Each session aims to foster a sense of belonging and community spirit, enhancing the personal development of each pupil. We encourage pupils to take an active role in worship through readings, prayers, and presentations, supporting their spiritual growth and public speaking skills.
On Monday's our worship is delivered by the Head of School or Rev, Cathy Bladen and follows a religious or values based theme.
On Tuesday's our worship is delivered by the Executive Head Teacher or Senior Teacher and follows a church based values theme.
